Mario Corchero Jiménez is a highly experienced Team Lead and Developer with over 10 years of experience in the technology industry. Currently working at Bloomberg LP as a Team Lead and Developer in R&D Python Infrastructure, he is responsible for the infrastructure used across the company to develop, deploy and run all Python code. His past experiences include working within R&D News Infrastructure at Bloomberg LP, where he was a Senior Software Engineer. His main achievements include being a data storage expert within Amadeus Hotel Innovation, leading the development of a library on top of a database with hundreds of millions of reservations and hundreds of bookings/s at peak time, and implementing a generic data feed to the BI part of the ETL process with guaranteed delivery and high throughput. Mario holds an MSc in Advanced Computer System Development from the University of the West of Scotland and a degree in Ingeniería Informática and Ingeniero Técnico en Informatica from the Universidad de Extremadura.
